ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A CHURCH THAT CELEBRATES YOU FULLY?

Metropolitan Community Church of New York provides a spiritual home for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities and for all who choose to join us through the practicing of the gospel of Jesus Christ in worship, prayer, social action, education, fellowship, and generosity so that all people might experience God's liberating love, wholeness, and justice; come to live in right relationship with God and all creation; and have the courage to change the world.

Welcome to the Binghamton Congregation of MCCNY. Metropolitan Community Church is an international Christian denomination with a special outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities, and our allies. We are creating together a spiritual home in the Binghamton area that not only welcomes but celebrates our differences across sexuality and gender expression and identity. Current ministries include Make Your Own Sunshine! and Faith Works. Make Your Own Sunshine! takes its name from the area’s reputation as one of the most overcast regions in the nation, and it provides regular opportunities to break bread and play together. Faith Works is our social justice ministry committed to serving those in need within and across our communities. We meet every Sunday morning for worship, praise, and fellowship.

Are you looking for a place that welcomes your spirituality, your gender identity, and your sexuality? A place where your whole being can worship and play? A place where diversity is celebrated? A place where social justice informs faith? You may be looking for us. Call now.

Our Core Values:

Gospel: We are each deeply beloved by God as we are.
Namaste: We believe that each of us embodies and reflects the presence of God.
Ephphatha: We commit to opening doors to one another across our differences.
Pentecost: We affirm a variety of spiritual paths and expressions.
Emmanuel: We understand that we must act on these truths to make change in the world.
